# BEGIN OpenPGP Key Transition Statement **Date:** 17 August 2026 I am replacing my previous OpenPGP key with a new one. **Old key** * Fingerprint: E902F9509FCBD2972E3446E38F77201301320442 **New key** * Fingerprint: D0A41F9E5343595FC133818EADDD7D6BAF8633B7 Effective immediately, I request that correspondents use the new key for encryption and verify signatures made with it. The old key should no longer be used to encrypt new messages. I will publish revocation certificates for my old key once the new key has been accepted to the Debian keyring. The old key may continue to be used to verify historical signatures created before this transition. The new key has been certified by the old key, and this transition statement is signed by both keys where possible. Signatures include the BEGIN and END lines including one linefeed at the end of the last line. This and future transition statements are published on https://uri.zugschlus.de/openpgp If you have established trust in my old key, you may extend that trust to the new key after verifying the certification and/or this signed transition statement.
